Project details

We are looking for volunteers with computer skills and ideally knowledge of Linux.

You would be working at CERN (Centre Européen de Recherche Nucléaire) for a project called "Informaticiens Sans Frontières", which aims to develop an open source package destined to be distributed in developing countries. You would be working on one or several of the following aspects:

  • Install and configure PC and MAC systems destined to be shipped to developing countries;
  • Help develop open source software based on Debian / Linux;
  • Maintain and develop the technical end of the web.
